Appreciate what you have - 1/5 of the Bio

You know when you've known them for all your life? When you don't know any other but them...

At first it was weird, having to adapt to a whole new family, a group of people you don't know, but you knew you'd have to get used to them sooner or later because they'll be there for life... Yes, that's right...LIFE!!!

You have to open your heart up and let them in, we were all young in mind, innocent, little children, around the same age, had to learn to forget the differences and focus on the similarities.

We shared a lot of similarities but as we grew up things changed and we started to notice the little differences we had. It wasn't because we wanted to, but because we had to! Of course we 'HAD' to tolerate each other... Our parents married and made vows, we had to tolerated each other for as long as that lasted.

Eventually it became a competition, there were four of them and two of us.. Who's really gona win? From schools to boyfriends, it was always us that they looked down at, waiting to see us fail... Us, who were fatherless, who would really be there to pick us up if we failed in life?

To me being fatherless is like being a bird with one wing, no matter how hard you try to fly you struggle because you have no balance, you have to apppreciate your other wing because that's all you have left and without it you might as well be dead.

I know it's hard to fly with one wing but I am a survivor and will prove that having just a wing isn't going to bring me down

** Moral of story: Always be grateful in life **
